If you are an online gamer and have played Blizzard's World of Warcraft for more than a couple of hours, you will know just how frustrating it can be to be short of gold, the in-game currency. During my search, I found plenty of so called solutions to allow you to hack the game to cheat your way to gold. My advice is, don't use these so called strategies and hacks, because these are the things that can (and almost always will) get your account banned…ouch.

First of all, what struck me what that there is lots of content (325 pages!) inside Gold Secrets.
However, what keep bothering me when reading the sales letter, was whether this stuff was legal/legit or not.
Because of the sheer amount of info, I was worried that the guide would be all about telling me what Wow was, and what trading was. I say this, because that's what I've experienced in the past with similar guides.
With just a quick scan, I've already picked up some great tips - because each tip is fairly brief, and just tells you what you need to know (no tip goes beyond a whole page, just gives you what you need).
Ai also liked the Auctioneer's guide, but it does seem pretty basic...but I suppose helpful if you've never used add ons and are unfamiliar with the financial power of being an auctioneer.
I love the unexpected guide to fishing (I know, sounds boring and totally irrelevant, but you'll soon see why it's a great way to level up pretty quickly once you know how)
The profits chart is useful reference too, with over 8 pages of quick start pointers to getting gold, depending on your current level (goes from beginner up to 70+)
There's also a cool little add on guide for Twinking (Twinks are players that are unusually powerful for their current level, and this guide shows you how to profit wildly from them)
Finally, I didn't like the layout/writing style of the main guide, as it's harder to read than a normal guide.
Overall, my first impressions of Gold Secrets is a mixed bag, and there's lots to take in at first.

The methods are actually very simple and not hard execute, yet they are unheard of on forums and have been very powerful for me.
Get Every Item That The Monsters Drop
This is something that many players overlook, but picking up every item while you are on quests can set yourself up for more gold. Try to get every item that the creatures drop even if they look unimportant, and keep doing this until your pack is full.
Sell the items that you do not need to vendors to raise more money for yourself, and always ensure that you turn in your quests after you have finished them.

The guide is really long, so it's not always ideal if you're more interested in playing than learning. Also, it's written in Old English style, which is ok, but not great for easy reading sometimes.
Without the forum, I would say that sooner or later this guide will become saturated by WOW users and possibly not as effective as it once was…but then it's also worth remembering that there are far more players coming online everyday that have no clue about these gold finding secrets, so that's worth thinking about.
Some of the tips and tricks can be found on various forums. I'm not saying this entire guide is just a pdf version of free forum posts, but some of the stuff I've seen before on forums.
Therefore, you may find that you just have to pick out/scan stuff that you haven't heard of before. Heck, its worth it when you think what one new technique can bring you in gold. Plus, there are 350 pages, so it's highly unlikely you've heard of most of the stuff covered.

I love the amount of tips provided. Many WOW guides barely scratch the surface when it comes to this stuff, but Gold Secrets covers every angle of finding gold on WOW.
Sure, it may seem a little dated, but it really doesn't matter…because the techniques are timeless and as long as new players keep coming online and the entire world doesn't find out about these secrets, they will easily bring you in gold daily (and in some cases, a LOT of it).
I also like the way the techniques not only cover the basic ways to get gold, but also guide you through different angles to getting gold, such as trading, daily quests (maximizing the gold), where to find items everyone wants but cannot find, how to use other player's skills for your own profit and gain…
…there's just so many ways to make a mountain of gold on WOW that after reading this guide, your head will be spinning…seriously!
Clearly, you get your money's worth here. And when you consider the gold you'll be able to uncover after using this guide, it's a no brainer in many ways.
I like the way the content is laid out simply, without any extra rambling going on. Just straight to the point facts, tips and tricks to find gold…nothing more, nothing less.
